I met Elaine when she was a high school student. She had beautiful brown hair,a wonderful smile and a joyful spirit. The next time I saw Elaine was at Carol and Dennis' wedding at Sea Ranch. She was a mature woman but still had that wonderful, joyful spirit. I have been privileged to have Carol, Elaine's sister, as my daughter-in-law for many years so during that time we have kept up with Don, Elaine, and Sean because Carol shared with us the high points in the lives of the Hayes family. We have seen so many beautiful pictures of them over the years and we consider them part of our extended family. Our hearts share the sorrow Don, Sean, Leslie and Carol must feel. We pray that they will rely on God's help and their wonderful memories of wife, mother, sister and friend. I take comfort in the knowledge that Elaine is with God and that we will all be together again someday.
